Butterfly Just Born Drying Its Wings, originally uploaded by blancastella.

Every idea begins with a thought. Thoughts can turn into visions of a beautiful tomorrow if one puts their mind to it. Today is a possible new beginning of dreams and visions that were birthed two years ago. Now the baton is being passed to my niece and son, both teens. I spent the day inspiring them on some goals for this website. Who knows what can become of it?

The dream is still alive of inspiring children and teens.  The beauty would be if teens be a part of creating it. It can become something beautiful like this butterfly that was born in my garden recently.

Kseniya Simonova Sand Painting

by Blanca Stella on October 30, 2009

in Teen Inspiration

This is one of the most beautiful creative expression that I have ever seen. This young girl clearly is using a talent that moves her from her heart. I cried watching this in action and felt almost like a Susan Boyle experience.

The Video on You Tube says: Kseniya Simonova is a Ukrainian artist who  won Ukraine’s version of “America’s Got Talent.” She uses a giant light box, dramatic music, imagination and “sand painting” skills to interpret Germany’s invasion and occupation of Ukraine during WWII.

I just saw this post in The Huffington Post.  In this video, Madonna asks for help for the building of schools for the children in Malawi.
The organization helps to end poverty and hardship that these children endure.  The statistics are staggering: millions of children orphaned due to AIDS. For every dollar donated, she will match the same. It is so humbling to see something like this when we are caught up in our own little worlds. Here is the link to donate: Raising Malawi

Join 1 Goal from Join1goal on Vimeo.

Queen Rania supports this organization, Join 1 Goal. It’s goal is that every child in the world has a chance to get educated. On their site it says 75 million children cannot read and 33 million children in Africa do not attend school.

An Analysis Of Your Inspiration

by Blanca Stella on September 15, 2009

in Adult Inspiration To Teens

If any of you have been reading my guest posts over the past week, you know I tend to write fairly comedic material.

Brian's Book - Prelude To A Super Airplane

Brian's Book - Prelude To A Super Airplane

We all need to be inspired by individuals who take big steps to accomplish their goals. My guest today is Brian Spaeth. He  is the writer and star of  Who Shot Mamba?, a Broadband Motion Picture debuting October 13th on Koldcast.tv. You can see the first teaser-trailer on the website, and the second exclusively at the Facebook Page. Brian has also published two novels, and writes regularly at his own blog.

 Brian’s inspiration:

I’d actually like to step away from that here and go on a bit about motivation and inspiration and things in that general area. See, I’m a firm believer in two things:

1) Motivation and inspiration is self-generated.

2) There is no such thing as fate – it’s like in Terminator 2: “There is no fate but what you make,” or whatever he said. Continue Reading->

Alexis, Jeanine & Alina On Inspiration

by Blanca Stella on September 14, 2009

in Teen Inspiration, Video Posts

I had the pleasure of being at a photo shoot for PeaceLoveWorld.com with Jeanine Mason and Alexis Mason. Jeanine recently won best dancer on So You Think You Can Dance. Alexis is her beautiful sister, whom Jeanine says is her source of inspiration, besides the fact that Alexis also is a talented dancer. Alina Villasante, creator of Peace Love World is one of my best friends. She is my source of inspiration to never give up on my dreams. I write about her on my personal blog. They all share their thoughts on what inspires them.

This is my dream: to find many voices of inspiration and that this website be a platform for many.  So come on!  Write one down in the Post Your HDD page. Etch it in cyberspace and speak with your heart. I truly believe in my dreams because I finally have a clear vision. I have been writing on my personal blog for over a year of how to surrender to challenges that come upon you. This website is for teens to share their visions, hopes, dreams.  Jeanine & Alexis Mason are definitely teens who inspire!

Good Luck Four Leaf Clover

by Blanca Stella on August 21, 2009

in Destiny

Four Leaf Clover

Four Leaf Clover

“Don’t you think it’s a sign?” I asked Cristian. We were having lunch at Baha Fresh on Miracle Mile today. This week, because of  my 0wn 16 year old son motivating me to not give up on my dreams, I decided to resurrect the concept I started here with my sister. I haven’t blogged here since May 6, 2009. That happened to be the day before Sparky, my beloved Labrador died. I have been blogging my personal story at  Resurrect Your Hero . These past three months have been about getting out of under water. But my dreams have always stayed alive in my heart.

I asked my son to help me with some creative ideas to revamp the character. I told him that I wanted a four leaf clover for good luck. I told him this as he was having his Lucky Charms breakfast.  The challenge I have is to get him going as a teen to get focused while being a student at the same time. He is a mellow laid back kid. I love his personality, but it does take some nudging to get him focused. I am not asking him to work hours upon hours. I am simply asking him to give me ideas that I know are in his creative brain and spirit. Continue Reading->

family-on-luis-birthday@idealway posted this link on Twitter today. It is about a recent John Hopkins study about left handedness and why they need emotions to learn to remember. It says that “lefties and dyslexics activated their emotions(amygdala) and personal relevance(left hippo-campus) areas when remembering.”

I really don’t understand all the scientific or medical jargon of the brain yet, but I am a leftie. From my perspective, this is true. I didn’t know that the emotions were tied to the amygdala though. So it is an interesting thought for me today because of a personal matter that is very close to my heart, or shall I say emotions. Arianna Huffington asked Sir Richard Branson 10 top digged questions . The first one was: “When does money become immaterial?” In this interview on his private jet, he starts out saying that family and friends are most important.  He says that the basics are having a roof over your head, enough bedrooms for everyone in the family, a car with 4 wheels to get you from A-B and sorting out things with your family if someone is ill.

After that he goes on to say that if you are lucky to create a successful business, then you can make a difference in people’s lives and take time to make some right s in the world. He also talks about other things such as the death of record labels, getting high on life without the use of drugs, crying when he sold his company and that most of the time he has tears of happiness. Ashton Kutcher went on Larry King yesterday. Now Larry King is officially on Twitter. I really believe that what happened this week is really a media revolution. Ashton had his laptop connected to Twitter fans asking questions to Larry while Ashton talked to him.
Free Webcam Chat at Ustream

Larry said that what he misses about the old journalism is the in depth reporting. He says that now a story at 6PM is old news at 9PM.  At the beginning it is difficult to get used to Twitter because it is like hearing a bunch of people at the same time screaming for your attention. I can’t even imagine with all those million followers how Ashton can keep up with it.  But once you get used to the stream, your eye will catch a headline. Then you can click and read the in depth story. Continue Reading->
