Arianna Huffington asked Sir Richard Branson 10 top digged questions . The first one was: “When does money become immaterial?” In this interview on his private jet, he starts out saying that family and friends are most important.  He says that the basics are having a roof over your head, enough bedrooms for everyone in the family, a car with 4 wheels to get you from A-B and sorting out things with your family if someone is ill.

After that he goes on to say that if you are lucky to create a successful business, then you can make a difference in people’s lives and take time to make some right s in the world. He also talks about other things such as the death of record labels, getting high on life without the use of drugs, crying when he sold his company and that most of the time he has tears of happiness. Ashton Kutcher went on Larry King yesterday. Now Larry King is officially on Twitter. I really believe that what happened this week is really a media revolution. Ashton had his laptop connected to Twitter fans asking questions to Larry while Ashton talked to him.
Free Webcam Chat at Ustream

Larry said that what he misses about the old journalism is the in depth reporting. He says that now a story at 6PM is old news at 9PM.  At the beginning it is difficult to get used to Twitter because it is like hearing a bunch of people at the same time screaming for your attention. I can’t even imagine with all those million followers how Ashton can keep up with it.  But once you get used to the stream, your eye will catch a headline. Then you can click and read the in depth story. Continue Reading->

seed-march-19I listened to a live podcast this evening with Gregg Braden. He is one of my favorite authors. His most recent book, Fractal Time was just released. Here are some of the highlights of the talk:

Time is made of fractal patterns.

A Seed is when a pattern begins.

We are now in a moment in time which scientists call “The Choice Point.” It is a time when either nothing happens or all is possible and where choice becomes potent. We are in a magical time that is an end of a cycle, not the end of the world.

The key is to be aware of repeating patterns that come up, recognize, identify them and either change the response or choose a new response to reset to a new pattern. This way the old cycle ends. This way a new seed is planted. Continue Reading->

Warren Buffet spoke to CBS yesterday and said that the ” economy has fallen into a cliff and that most Americans are fearful and confused.” He also says that you cannot get over being fearful if you are no longer confused.”

The opposite of these two words is trust and clarity. We must each have trust in our clear visions as individuals to help America restore itself.  They both work hand in hand. If we let go of trust, the vision disintegrates in a flash. I feel the heaviness in my own life. But I refuse to let go of my hopes, dreams and desires at the critical point where my whole life is changing.

All this change is happening for a reason. It is easy now to criticize and put blame on the administration.Sure it is a concern for me how Obama will lead. I have hope for him to do good. I really pray that he does.  And if he doesn’t, then the strength of the people will prevail. So in the meantime, while we must each be sure to strengthen ourselves first and foremost.

girl-at-beach-jumping-in-the-airIt’s really the things that kids say that usually touch us the most. Now that President Obama is in the midst of all this change in the administration, this story gives us a pause to consider our future generations. Letters with drawings that  thousands of kids wrote were presented to the President. It expresses their hopes and dreams. Maybe some of us are older and discouraged with the mess the world is in.

But it is the hope for the future that keeps us going. And the children, the innocent ones are the ones that can shed light for the adults to pay attention.

Sunrise Miami Beach

Sunrise Miami Beach

My intention in creating this blog was at first to inspire others to follow their dreams. Then with all my dreams of creating programs as a Certified Hypnotist, writing a book and becoming an author full time, I found myself in a quandary. I had been dreaming of becoming all this for many years. However, no matter how focused or purposeful I was in my attempt “to do” everything on my to do list, I kept encountering constant challenges in my life on the way to following the passion in my heart.
