clear vision

Warren Buffet spoke to CBS yesterday and said that the ” economy has fallen into a cliff and that most Americans are fearful and confused.” He also says that you cannot get over being fearful if you are no longer confused.”

The opposite of these two words is trust and clarity. We must each have trust in our clear visions as individuals to help America restore itself.  They both work hand in hand. If we let go of trust, the vision disintegrates in a flash. I feel the heaviness in my own life. But I refuse to let go of my hopes, dreams and desires at the critical point where my whole life is changing.

All this change is happening for a reason. It is easy now to criticize and put blame on the administration.Sure it is a concern for me how Obama will lead. I have hope for him to do good. I really pray that he does.  And if he doesn’t, then the strength of the people will prevail. So in the meantime, while we must each be sure to strengthen ourselves first and foremost.

Consequences of Lack of Vision

by Blanca on December 8, 2008

in Vision/Focus/Intention

I just read this article about the heads of GM(General Motors) admitting their failure to have proper focus and vision in the automobile industry. This article states that they have even “betrayed” and violated the trust of the American people because of their lackluster design and lower quality standards.

Now these prior actions or non-actions are creating a ripple effect that can affect the jobs of millions of Americans and possibly send the economy further into a deeper recession. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20081208/us_nm/us_gm_ad

Haven’t we as individuals lacked in clear vision or substandard contribution in our work? I am guilty of it. It really bothers me how in my myriad of past distractions and engaged in negative relationships, I succumbed and failed to act in the best of my ability at the time. I have paid a high price. The good thing is that I have learned from these lessons and now am on a much, much clearer path to contribute in a meaningful way. Much time has been wasted, but with clear purpose and intent and led by a Higher Power, I do believe mountains can be moved.

We must all take responsibility for our actions and be able to acknowledge that if you are in a certain place that you don’t like, then it is time to change course. After all, you are the one that got you where you are. So let’s all get going and stop blaming others for our substandard circumstances. Anyone can change. It’s your decision and no one else’s.
