In my 21 day process with my son, I mentioned one day that life is a circle. And he replied to me, “Yes, I always wonder about that?” That really piqued my interest. He is a teen who is pretty much private about his thoughts. When he was about three years old, he asked me a lot of questions about God. So I always saw him as a very wise child and listened to him carefully. Of course now as a teen, he rarely comes up with these kind of phrases.
I asked him why he thought that and his answer was that, “Life is routine, so it is a circle.” My reply was that life was really a circle and that the routine was the straight line, thinking in left brain(line) and right brain(circle) terms. Because I have allowed my creativity to blossom lately, I see my right brain as more whole. But is it really true? You cannot discount your left brain, because after all, it is your left brain that puts order to the right brain. And we left it at that. After all, I am older and wiser, supposedly.
